Health Unit Coordinator Technician - ER

Join our team as a Unit Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting exceptional patient care. Working under the direction of the Charge Nurse, you'll serve as the organizational hub of the department by coordinating communication, transcribing provider orders, maintaining accurate patient records, and facilitating collaboration among multidisciplinary care teams. You'll also arrange interfacility transports and ensure the smooth flow of information, helping our clinical staff deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care. CNA, EMT, AEMT or Paramedic certification, medical terminology are preferred.

• KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: 2 years hospital experience preferred. Medical terminology is strongly recommended. Previous experience in clerical or receptionist position required.
• EDUCATION: High School graduate or GED required.  Completes all mandatory review/education as required and assigned.
