The Healthcare Administrative Associate plays a vital role in maintaining front-office workflow to optimize the efficiency of the medical practice, clinic, and/or department. This position supports daily administrative operations, ensures accurate documentation and billing processes, and delivers excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
Greet, screen, and provide service to patients and visitors
Process mail, fax, and other documents
Maintain multi-line phone system/switchboard
Schedule, register, and check patients in and out
Maintain and update medical records
Perform data management and maintain spreadsheets
Run and maintain reports
Perform charge entry and process billing documents
Research and resolve billing-related issues
Collect co-payments, deductibles, and other self-pay amounts at time of service
Maintain cash box and receipt books

Other Minimum Qualifications:
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Familiarity with office procedures and equipment
Proficiency in computer data entry and keyboarding
Ability to use electronic medical record systems
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) preferred
Ability to multitask effectively
