Healthcare Billing Specialist, FT

What You’ll Do:

• Handle Medicare Part A & B billing, including verifying charges, coding, and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate census and referral logs for our healthcare community.
• Collaborate in monthly Triple Check meetings to ensure billing accuracy.
• Communicate with residents and families to confirm billing details and insurance eligibility.
• Support accounts receivable tasks and third-party collections.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Resident Rights policies.

Requirements

? What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care billing preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written.
• Ability to read and comprehend numbers and written material.
