Healthcare Reception Specialist

An outpatient group in the Dripping Springs, TX area is looking to add Medical Receptionists to their growing team!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in medical software systems. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of the office.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm

Locations: Dripping Springs, TX

Duties:

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
• Handle incoming calls using phone systems, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Process patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and ICD-10 coding.
• Collect payments.
• Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed.
