Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Equipment Mechanics to diagnose, maintain, and repair our fleet of excavators, bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, and other heavy machinery used in land development projects. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Conduct engine overhauls, component replacements, and welding repairs when necessary.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
• Work alongside operators and project managers to minimize downtime on job sites.
• Maintain service records and follow all safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years as a heavy diesel mechanic (construction, land development, or similar industry preferred).
• Certifications: [Preferred certifications, e.g., ASE, CAT, or Cummins certifications].
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
