We’re hiring an experienced Level 1 or Level 2 Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic for 3rd shift. This role plays a vital part in the safety, accuracy, and efficiency of our fleet's repairs and maintenance.
Shift Details:
Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Premium Pay: 10% extra per hour for full-time hours between 6 PM and 5 AM

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
Troubleshoot and repairs such as brakes, air leaks and basic component replacements
Complete all services and repairs according to shop standards and DOT regulations
Document parts, services, and time logs accurately and promptly
Respond to occasional roadside service calls when needed
Safely move and operate trucks in the yard or on the road as needed
Follow all company safety procedures and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience (heavy equipment repair preferred)
Certifications: Michigan or ASE certifications (including engine component work)
Skills: Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and effective communication
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Technical Ability: Computer literate; capable of diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicle systems
License: CDL-A or a willingness to obtain one with Inontime-sponsored training
Teamwork: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with others
Leadership: Previous supervisory experience is a plus
