Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Equipment & Truck Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain an excavator, bulldozer, a wheel loader and couple of heavy-duty trucks. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, skills, and the ability to work independently in shop and field environments to keep equipment safe, reliable, and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative servicing

  
  


• 
  

  Repair brakes, steering systems, and hydraulic components

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain equipment according to manufacturer and safety standards

  
  


• 
  

  Read and interpret service manuals, diagnostic tools, and schematics

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate repair needs and timelines with supervisors and operators

  
  

Equipment Worked On

• 
  

  Excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, and skid steers

  
  


• 
  

  Dump trucks, service trucks, and trailers

  
  


• 
  

  Diesel and gasoline engines

  
  


• 
  

  Hydraulic and electrical systems

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  High school diploma or GED (technical school preferred)

  
  


• 
  

  2+ years experience as a construction equipment or heavy-duty truck mechanic

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

  
  


• 
  

  Welding experience is a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift heavy parts and work in outdoor environments
