CHC is seeking an experienced and hands-on Heavy Equipment Foreman to lead our maintenance team and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced repair environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Supervise mechanics and assign daily tasks.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on heavy equipment.


• Oversee preventative maintenance and repair schedules.


• Ensure quality control on all repairs and inspections.


• Maintain safety standards and enforce OSHA compliance.


• Coordinate parts ordering and inventory management.


• Communicate repair timelines and equipment status to management.


• Train, mentor, and support technicians to improve skill levels.


• Document work performed and maintained accurate service records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience working on heavy equipment.


• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.


• Strong diagnostic and hydraulic/electrical troubleshooting skills.


• Ability to read schematics and service manuals.


• Excellent communication, organization, and time management.


• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
