Heavy Equipment Mechanic

The Witmer Group, a nationally recognized regional masonry contractor, is currently seeking a full-time Mechanic.  This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs to all company equipment. This includes various types of equipment including diesel engines and rough terrain forklifts.  The ideal candidate would be as follows:

• Read and understand repair manuals


• Ability to lift heavy things


• Willing to work overtime when needed


• Organize and prioritize work


• Must have your own tools


• Able to efficiently diagnose required repairs


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment


• Willing to repair equipment on construction jobsites


• Experience in heavy equipment and hydraulics preferred


• Basic welding experience a plus


• Class A drivers license a plus.
