Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are looking for a Mechanic to maintain and repair construction vehicles, heavy equipment, and fleet assets to ensure safe and reliable jobsite operations. This role supports ongoing field operations by diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and completing repairs efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience working with diesel engines, hydraulics, and construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction vehicles, diesel engines, and heavy equipment

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety

• Repair or replace defective components including engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for equipment maintenance

• Coordinate with operations teams to schedule repairs and minimize equipment downtime

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance workspace

• 3+ years of experience as a mechanic working with diesel engines, fleet vehicles, or heavy equipment

• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Experience maintaining construction equipment, trucks, or heavy machinery

• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and mechanical repair equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
