Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to
join our team in Lockport, NY. The ideal Technician will have a strong
background in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of construction and agricultural equipment,
ensuring machinery safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair various types of heavy
  equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, asphalt equipment, AG tractors, harvest equipment etc.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive
  services on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and
  hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and
  address potential problems before they lead to equipment failure.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment,
  adhering to safety standards and protocols.
  
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  performed.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
  
• Strong diagnostic and problem -solving skills.
  
• Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and
  hydraulic systems.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a
  team.
  
• Excellent communication and customer service
  skills.
  
• Must have your own set of tools
• Valid driver’s license.
  
• Employment subjected to a pre -employment check.
