Job Description - Heavy Equipment Mechanic

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in York PA.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop environment. Leadership roles and growth available.

Compensation:

$32.00 - $45.00/hour based on experience, training, certifications, etc.
Comprehensive benefits plan. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, etc.
401K with matching contributions.
Boot and tool allowance.
Company service vehicle and gas card available for field service openings.

Shift:

Day Shift; Monday to Friday
Overtime available.

Key Qualifications:

3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools.
Welding experience is preferred.
OEM Training is a major asset.
Working knowledge on construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc., equipment is preferred.
