Heavy Equipment Operator

A leading potting soil manufacturing plant is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position involves operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, and forklifts to move raw materials, load trucks, and maintain efficient production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, and forklifts, to transport materials.

• Load and unload raw materials, soil, and other bulk products safely and efficiently.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.

• Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work area.

• Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support production operations.

• Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment (loader, excavator, etc.).

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor/industrial environments.

• Strong attention to safety and detail.

• Experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting is a plus.

• Valid driver's license and equipment certifications (preferred but not required).
