Heavy Equipment Operator Wanted

Help Keep Our Frac Sand Plant Moving Safely, Efficiently, and On Target

Excavator, Skid Steer, Track Hoe, Heavy Equipment, Mining, Processing, or Heavy Industrial Experience Preferred.

We're looking for a motivated and hardworking Equipment Operator to run heavy equipment with minimal supervision at our frac sand plant. This role supports safe, efficient daily operations by operating excavators, skid steers, track hoes, and related equipment to move materials and keep production flowing.

As an Equipment Operator, you'll transport materials to designated stockpile areas, load and move materials accurately, adapt to changing jobsite needs, and work closely with plant leadership and team members to maintain an organized, productive, and safety-focused work environment.

What You'll Do

• Operate excavators of all sizes safely and efficiently to support loading, material handling, and transport needs.
• Move materials to designated stockpile areas with accuracy and efficiency to support an organized workflow.
• Operate skid steers with skill, precision, and attention to safety across a variety of tasks.
• Operate track hoes of different sizes and adapt equipment use to the specific requirements of each job.
• Inspect, operate, and maintain equipment in a way that supports safe and reliable performance.
• Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and site protocols to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others.
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision while maintaining productivity, communication, and safety standards.

Schedule

This role requires flexibility to support continuous plant operations.

• Rotating shifts
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

 What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Equipment Operator, especially operating excavators of various sizes.
• Experience operating skid steers, track hoes, and other heavy equipment in mining, processing, construction, or a heavy industrial environment.
• Basic knowledge of occupational safety practices and a strong commitment to following safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work well within a team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying productive and focused.
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks, responsibilities, equipment, and operating conditions.
• Prior experience in frac sand mining, bulk material handling, or similar plant operations is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, tools, and materials as needed.
• Physical stamina and agility to handle the demands of operating equipment and working around a plant environment.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform other physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold, and other industrial conditions.
• Regular use of required PPE, including hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, respirator, and other protective equipment.
