If you are mechanically inclined, eager to learn and dependable, we have the job for you! Vermeer All Roads in Chesapeake, VA is adding to our amazing team! This is a shop role where you will use your mechanical abilities to repair Vermeer machinery and components.  Once trained, you will have the opportunity to go out on the road! This is a full-time position eligible for benefits with no nights or weekends! 

Schedule & Compensation $25-35+ per hour with production bonuses available

Responsibilities

1. Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
2. Diagnose equipment malfunctions. Hydraulics, electrical & hydrostatic experience required. 
3. Recognize and suggest appropriate repairs to the service manager.
4. Be an experienced welder
5. Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities.
6. Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs preformed.
7. Creating estimates for repair costs.
8. Communicate with the factory for technical assistance.
9. All other duties as assigned.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 50 lbs.
