Oxford Solutions has an opening for a Help Desk Support Specialist.
In this role, you will provide support to end users on basic help desk related support issues.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research and resolve technical problems.
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support.
- Perform pro-active monitoring of computer systems through appropriate tools.
- Document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions.
- Work directly with customers on resolving technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- 1 to 3 years technical and computer-related support or related experience
- Working knowledge of ITIL standards or best practices
- Experience providing support for the following:
- desktops, tools and utilities
- Operating systems
- Networks and voice services
- Security and Disaster recovery
- Process control and monitoring
- Call Center technologies
- Strong analytical, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Availability to work rotating shifts and holidays
