Helper to Automated Gate Installer Tech

Description

Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Helper is to assist the Automated Gate Installer Technician in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing automated gate systems 

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the installation of new gate operators and related access control systems.
2. Support troubleshooting efforts for various gate operator equipment from different manufacturers.
3. Help with SMA (stick) welding tasks when necessary.
4. Required to drive to other locations to deliver product and assist where needed. 
5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
6. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.
7. Perform other duties as required by business needs or as assigned.
8. A clean MVR is required due to driving to job sites 

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Basic experience or willingness to learn field welding, electrical work, concrete, trenching, digging, and the use of power tools and machinery.
2. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
4. Good communication and customer service skills.
5. Willingness to attend training seminars and stay updated with industry standards.
