Helper/Escort - Facility Services

The Facility Services Escort/Helper is responsible for monitoring certain areas of a construction site to assist employees and visitors with access requirements and ensure the facility/property are securely maintained. This may include oversight of certain assigned work areas and public spaces, managing visitor access, and walking assigned areas to ensure safe and secure operations are in place. 

Duties and Responsibilities

· Regularly walking designated areas of the property to check that areas are secured and operational, 

· Verifying identification and managing entry and exit points for visitors, employees, and vehicles. 

· Documenting any activity or emergencies that require reporting to Operations or Safety group  

· Answering questions and providing assistance to visitors while maintaining a professional demeanor. 

· Keeping detailed records of activities, incidents, and visitor information. 

· Valid driver's license

· At least 18 years of age

· Ability to perform physical labor 

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· Punctual and reliable

· Authorized to work in the United States

· Must pass drug screening and background checks

· Ability to stay alert and identify potential risks. 

· Effective verbal and written communication to interact with visitors, staff, and supervision 

· Ability to assess situations and respond appropriately to potential issues. 

· Able to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods. 

· Able to address and resolve any conflicts in a professional and calm demeanor
