• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p
• On -Call Shift Schedule: Inpatient call every 3rd week
• Call Ratio: 1:3

• Full -time coverage required with a minimum availability of 3 weeks per month
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults (18+)
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 15 patients per day
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included during inpatient call weeks
• Phone Consults: As clinically appropriate
• Case Mix: Hematology and oncology patients
FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Cerner
• Office Equipment Available: Standard oncology clinic equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary cancer care team
• Support Staff Available: Nurses, CMAs, and APPs
• Reason for Coverage: Long -term locum coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, with clean background and no significant gaps
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 45–60 days
• Background Requirements: Clean background required; pre -application required upon offer

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active West Virginia medical license
• Board: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: Oncology fellowship, BLS, and ACLS required
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hematology/oncology
• Other Qualifications: Ability to maintain strong patient and family communication
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care in a cancer center setting
• Perform bone marrow biopsies as required
• Participate in inpatient call coverage on a rotating basis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology care teams
• Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
