JOB OVERVIEW

PATIENT INFORMATION

  • Patient Demographics: Adult Oncology/Hematology patients
  • Patient Volume: 18–20 patients per day
  • Practice Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic with occasional inpatient consults
  • Infusion Chairs: 15
  • Treatments & Procedures:
    • Chemotherapy
    • Immunotherapy
    • Targeted Therapy
    • Hormone Therapy

FACILITY INFORMATION

  • Current Provider Team:
    • 1 Physician
    • 1 Nurse Practitioner
    • 3 Clinical Support Staff (CNA/CMA)
  • EMR: Epic (AI -assisted charting available)

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted
  • License: Active New York Medical License required
  • EMR Experience: Epic experience required

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Chemotherapy administration and management
  • Immunotherapy management
  • Targeted therapy management
  • Hormone therapy management
  • Oncology patient evaluation and follow -up
  • Occasional inpatient oncology consults

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Active New York Medical License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Epic EMR experience required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient Hematology/Oncology care.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for oncology patients.
  • Administer and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy.
  • Document patient encounters using Epic EMR with AI -assisted charting.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to deliver high -quality patient care.
  • Perform occasional inpatient oncology consultations as needed.
  • Maintain timely documentation and comply with facility policies and clinical standards
