About the Role:
Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Brooklyn, NY, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.

  • Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.

  • Help with meal preparation and nutritional guidance tailored to clients' needs.

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.

  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical equipment.

  • Support clients with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid Home Health Aide certification in New York State.

  • Previous experience in home health care or a similar setting preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes.

  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.

  • Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
