About the Role:

Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA-PCA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients in Brooklyn, NY. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to those in need.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Administer medication and monitor clients' health as per care plans.

Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Document client progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments and social activities.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Valid HHA or PCA certification in New York State.

Previous experience in home health care or a similar role preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.

Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Must pass background checks and drug screening.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $19.10 - $22.00 per hour
