HHP PARTS PULLER 1st Shift 

Mitchell, SD | Full-Time | 1st Shift (6AM–2PM, Mon-Fri)

About the Role

Locate and retrieve parts specified in work order instructions and blueprints and deliver the parts to Assemblers. Use forklifts, pallet jacks, computers, and handheld scanners to locate, retrieve, document, and deliver materials needed for production.

The Ideal Candidate /

We’re looking for someone who:

1. Must have ability to read and write. 

2. Ability to understands detailed blueprint and work instructions. 

3. Must have basic mathematic skills, along with the ability to use and understand measuring tools. 

4. Must have the ability to use a forklift, and a current forklift certification. 

Must have great attention to detail.  

What You’ll Do

1. Using the work order instructions and blueprints, locate and retrieve the needed parts.

2. Document each part, delivered to the Assemblers, update the inventory records accordingly.

3. Use forklift or pallet jack to retrieve and deliver needed parts to the Assemblers.

4. Use computer and or handheld scanner to find the specific location of the needed parts.

5. Assist Assemblers with their job duties as needed 

6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment

7. Notify the Floor Administrator if there is low or missing inventory on certain parts. 

8. Develop and maintain knowledge of various parts used in Assembly.

9. Report any issues to the supervisor, or appropriate personnel, as soon as detected. 

10. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and/or requirements set forth in AKG of America’s environmental management system (EMS). 

11. Regular physical attendance is an essential requirement for this position. Refer to AKG attendance policy section 2 of the Information Handbook for Employees, received during the orientation process. 

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand (100%) and walk (70%) of the time. May also be required to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist and turn. 

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (75%) of the time.

Must be able to use a pallet jack and a chain hoist. 

Must be able to use a forklift, and keep a forklift certification 

Wear required PPE: steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection.
