Hickory Tavern Dishwasher

Dishwasher:

Responsibilities include washing all used dishes, plates and utensils, loading dish machine and stacking clean dishes. Some light prep work is expected.

Functions:

• Load and unload dish machine
• Wash some items by hand
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment properly
• Ensure there is enough dishes, glasses and utensils during peak periods
• Remove garbage regularly
• Prep food during low volume
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assists other Team Members as needed.

Keeps the Six commitments of a Tavern Team member everyday every shift during low volume hours.

• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• Stands/walks 6 to 8 hours per shift.
• Reaches, lifts and bends, frequently.
• Ability to take direction.
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
