Hickory Tavern To Go Specialist

The To Go position is a dynamic and guest-focused role responsible for ensuring a smooth and friendly takeout experience. Team members in this position are expected to provide warm, welcoming service, efficiently manage takeout orders, and support the restaurant team to ensure every guest feels valued—whether they dine in or take food to go.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist with placing and picking up to-go orders.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally to take orders or assist with inquiries.
• Accurately enter orders and process payments through the MICROS system.
• Handle all transactions in accordance with company accounting procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the To Go and host areas.
• Perform opening, running, and closing side work as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Support team members and assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed.

• Stands/walks 4 to 8 hours per shift.
• Reaches, lifts and bends, frequently.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Guests.
• Ability to be friendly and smile
