High Level Automotive Accountant

This role is a high-level position that ensures timely, accurate and consistent recording of dealership transactions. We are looking for someone wanting to grow long term as we expand our dealerships. The role is responsible for assisting the accounting operations of the dealership.

• Manage accounting team, including supervising accounting clerks and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Retain a documented system of accounting policies and manage all facets of the general ledger
• Responsible for adherence to dealership policies and internal control structure
• Manage and protect company assets
• Prepare the daily, weekly, and monthly reports required by the management team
• Work with the management staff of the dealership to review the data and prepare reports as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum five years accounting experience
• Minimum three years automotive accounting experience
• Minimum two years of management experience
• High-level office and computer skills
• CDK Experience
