Job Description:
Pay: $32/hr
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Tutor to join our team in Brooklyn. In this role, you will provide in-person tutoring to high school students during the day, focusing exclusively on Biology and Living Environment concepts and exam preparation.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Target Launch Date: September 25, 2025
• Schedule: Three 6-hour days each week
• Pay: $32 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized tutoring sessions to help students master Biology concepts and prepare for the new Biology Regents exam.
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to keep students engaged and motivated.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Science Education, Biology, or a related field.
• Previous experience tutoring or teaching high school Biology.
• Familiarity with the New York State Regents exams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates who have been fingerprinted by the NYCDOE are strongly preferred.
