High School Economic Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Economics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Advanced Placement (AP) Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, and College Preparatory (CP) Economics courses. This position requires a passion for economics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, and CP Economics.

- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.

- Provide individualized support to students to enhance their understanding of economic concepts.

- Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion.

- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share best practices.

- Stay current with developments in the field of economics and educational methodologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

- Valid teaching certification in the relevant subject area.

- Experience teaching high school economics, particularly AP courses, is highly desirable.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.
