High School Restorative Team

Matchbook Learning is a non-profit charter management organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana. We operate two schools: Matchbook Learning at Wendell Phillips School 63, serving students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, and The Match High School and Career Center, currently serving 9th and 10th grade students and set to expand to include 11th grade in the fall of 2026.

We are seeking a dedicated School Restorative Team Member to join our team at The Match High School & Career Center. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and passionate about supporting students in developing positive behaviors, building strong relationships, promoting self-regulation, and resolving conflicts. This role also involves engaging with Spanish-speaking families when behavioral concerns arise, ensuring clear communication and fostering collaborative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive and reactive support to students in cultivating positive behavior and relationship-building skills.
• Implement restorative practices to resolve conflicts and promote a supportive school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to address individual student needs and enhance classroom dynamics.
• Conduct outreach and communication with Spanish-speaking families to ensure their involvement and understanding of behavioral interventions.
• Maintain detailed records of interventions and progress, adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
• Perform data entry tasks related to student interventions and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly desirable.
• Experience or training in restorative practices, behavior management, or counseling preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Understanding of child development principles and strategies for promoting positive behavior.
• Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the dynamic needs of students and the school community.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience working in a school environment or with youth programs is advantageous.

Working Conditions:

• This position operates primarily within a school environment, involving interactions with students, teachers, and families.
• A flexible work schedule may be required to accommodate meetings or events outside regular school hours.

Benefits:

• Certified pay range: $35,500 – $46,000, based on verified years of experience and licensure
