DESCRIPTION

• Codes all outpatient records, including REF, CLI. With appropriate ICD 10 and CPT coding.
  


• Check for NCD for payment purposes. Crosstrain with ER / SDS / Inpatient and observation as well as GBH coding.
  


• Check all outpatient orders for signatures and diagnosis and sends them back to doctors if one is not there.
  


• Maintain confidentiality at all time in accordance with Protected Health Information (PHI)
  


• Follow up with departments should any clarification be needed.
  


• Check for NCD for payment purposes.
  


• Maintains productivity report.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

• High School Diploma
  


• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  


• Good communication with doctors and nurses
  


• Prior experience as an analyst preferred but not required
