Pay: $120,000-$140,000 (Depending on Experience)

HIM Director Opportunity:

• Full-time, direct-hire opportunity
  
  


• Day Shift
  
  


• Maintains hospital medical records and processes requests for release of medical information according to established policies and procedures
  
  


• The HIM Director will analyze information and prepare appropriate reports
  
  


• Accurately transcribes medical and departmental documents as necessary
  
  


• Serve as the HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer
  
  


• HIM Director reports to the Chief Financial Officer
  
  

HIM Director Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree preferred
  
  


• Minimum of 10 years’ supervisory/management experience in Health Information Management required
  
  


• Minimum of 3 years’ HIPAA Privacy and Security management experience required
  
  


• AHIMA Certification required
