Hire Purchase Credit & Recovery Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and result-oriented Credit & Recovery Officer to manage credit-related activities, monitor customer accounts, and ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer credit accounts and outstanding receivables.


• Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments and ensure timely recovery.


• Conduct regular visits and communicate with customers regarding payment schedules.


• Assess customer credit information and identify potential credit risks.


• Maintain accurate records of collections, outstanding balances, and recovery activities.


• Prepare regular reports on credit status, collections, and recovery performance.


• Coordinate with relevant departments regarding customer accounts and recovery matters.


• Resolve customer queries and payment-related issues professionally.


• Take appropriate follow-up actions on overdue and delinquent accounts.


• Ensure compliance with company credit and recovery policies.


• Perform other credit and recovery-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management or an equivalent qualification.


• 1–2 years of experience in Credit & Recovery or a related field.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Good negotiation and customer-handling skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


• Valid Two-Wheeler Driving License is mandatory.


• Willingness to travel and conduct field visits as required.
