Job Description - Hiring Caregivers

GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES HIRING IMMEDIATELY!

*PCA- Personal Care Assistant
*HHA- Home Health Aide
*CNA- Certified Nurses Assistance

We are looking for 5-Star Caregivers to provide light housekeeping and personal care services to the elderly and disabled in the comfort of their own homes.

Dependable: Arrives on time, ready to work. Maintains an unblemished attendance record. Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to fill vacant shifts when needed.
Thorough: Attentively follows designated care plans, taking care to understand client needs to address them. Updates Care Plans to reflect changes in client care and inform Management of same.
Observant: Aware of a client’s unique personal and medical history to recognize changes, whether behavioral, physical, social, or psychological as they pertain to a client’s overall health and well-being.
Clear & Concise: Communicates professionally, tactfully, and with discretion in verbal exchanges with the client, and family members. Records all activities and observations factually in the visit notes.
Follow-Through: Communicates with Management, ensuring that all issues, updates, changes, and concerns are reported to the office in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:

valid Driver's license and vehicle to get to and from client's home
Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
Respectful and compassionate
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house
Assist client with personal care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
Assist with shopping errands
Perform light housekeeping duties
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
