Shift Information
Monday - Friday 40 hours per week.
Pay Rate
$2800 total weekly gross - $70/hour($32/hour W-2 taxable , $38/hour non taxable stipend)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing Duties within the Physical Therapist’s Scope of Practice:
Examining Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. Based on the results, determine the diagnosis, prognosis, and necessary intervention strategies.
Designing Therapeutic Interventions: Create and modify therapeutic plans to alleviate impairments and functional limitations, helping patients regain their ability to perform daily activities.
Preventing Health Issues: Focus on preventing injuries and disabilities by promoting overall health, fitness, and wellness across all age groups.
Consultation, Education, and Research: Engage in sharing knowledge with colleagues and the community, as well as contributing to the latest research in physical therapy practices.
Maintaining Patient Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress reports, attendance, and discharge summaries. Ensure timely submission of charges for services rendered.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4 years experience in Pelvic Health required.
- The Physical Therapist must have completed training in accordance with minimum essential for physical therapy schools as prescribed by Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of American Medical Association.
- Graduated from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy.
- Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy
- Active license for the state of Colorado.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
1. Pelvic Health Certification Required.
2. Current, active Physical Therapist licensure for Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination.
3. Current CPR Certification.
