Job Description - Hiring for Registered Nurse â NICU in Henderson, NV
We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized, compassionate care to critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The RN will monitor neonatal patients, administer treatments, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support families throughout the course of care.

Location: Henderson, NV
Unit: Level III NICU
Contract: 8 Weeks
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PMâ7:30 AM
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts
Travel Rate: $85/hr
Local Rate: $75â$80/hr
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns
Assess, monitor, and document neonatal conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered
Manage and monitor neonatal equipment and support systems
Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
Assist with neonatal emergencies and resuscitation procedures
Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate and support parents and families
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safety protocols
Follow evidence-based NICU practices and infection-control standards
Requirements
Recent NICU RN experience required
BLS â Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) â Required
STABLE Program â Required
Current RN license applicable to the assignment
Strong neonatal assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
Travel eligibility: Based on applicable facility requirements.
