Hiring Histology Technician / Histotechnician in White Plains,New York

Key Responsibilities

• Process, embed, section, and prepare tissue specimens for diagnosis.
  


• Perform H&E, special stains, and IHC procedures.
  


• Maintain slide quality through appropriate quality control and testing.
  


• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  


• Maintain accurate documentation and follow laboratory safety and regulatory standards.
  


• Identify and escalate specimen, equipment, or testing issues as needed.
  

Requirements

• Valid New York State laboratory license/credential applicable to the role.
  


• Education meeting NYS Office of the Professions & CLIA requirements.
  


• Strong knowledge of histology procedures and laboratory quality standards.
  


• 1+ year of histology experience preferred.
  


• ASCP certification preferred.
  


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced lab.
