Hiring PTA Physical Therapist Assistant in NKC, MO with $1840 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a PTA or a 13 week travel/contract position in NKC, MO. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate: Range $1800 to $1840 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Mileage Reimbursement: $0.50/mile for distance covered between patient home appointments

Unit: Home Health

Shifts available: Days

Position Requirements:

• PTA experience: Minimum 1+ years - Required
  


• Recent/Current Home Health PTA experience, 12 months within last 3 years – Required
  


• Homecare Homebase charting 
  


• Familiarity with OASIS
  


• Must be Covid Vaccinated
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• PTA License for the state applying or compact if applicable  - Required
  


• BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required
  

Job Description:

• Providing physical therapy interventions as prescribed by the PT, focusing on restoring function, relieving pain, and maintaining patient mobility.
  


• Educating patients and their families on exercises, safety measures, and the use of assistive devices.
  


• Observing, recording, and reporting patient responses, changes, and progress to the supervising PT.
  


• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
  


• Communicating effectively with the PT, other healthcare professionals, and the patient's family to ensure coordinated care
