Job Description - Hiring Registered Nurse (RN) â Long -Term Care / Short -Term Rehabilitation in Canton,South Dakota

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.

Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time

FTE: 0.9

Setting: Long-Term Care / Short-Stay Rehabilitation

Schedule: Based on facility needs

Education: ADN or BSN

Salary: Based on applicable nursing union scale

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Assess residents and provide individualized nursing care.

Administer medications, treatments, and wound care.

Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and care teams.

Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.

Follow established clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

ADN or BSN required.

Current RN license in the applicable state.

BLS certification required.

Strong communication, teamwork, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Wound-care experience preferred.

Additional Details

Patient population: Long-term care & short-stay rehabilitation

Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs.

EMR documentation experience required.
