Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurses for travel/contract positions in Centre Hall, PA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. 

Position Details:

Pay Rate: Range $2088 to $2232 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Psychiatric

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours / Week, 3 x12-hour shifts, any 3 days of the week, including every other weekend and Holidays Rotation 

• 2+ years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
  


• Comfortable and willing to work with children, adolescents, adults & older adult patient population
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  


• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  


• RN License for State of PA (for candidates residing in PA) or Compact RN License (for Out-of-state candidates) - Required
  


• CPI or HWC Certification - Preferred
  


• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned psych units.
  


• Provide care for inpatient adult and adolescent units and float to other units if required
  


• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
  


• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
  


• Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
  


• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
  


• Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
  


• Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
  


• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
