About Us:

Responsibilities:
- Instructional Support: Provide specialized instruction to a small group of students with diverse learning needs in science and social science classes.
- Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' academic goals and objectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and materials to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Instructional Strategies: Implement evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions to support student learning and achievement.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
- Licensure: Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
- Experience: Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Skills: Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
