Hiring Surgical Technologist – Operating Room in Galesburg, Illinois

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ORs, instruments, equipment, and sterile fields for procedures.
  


• Assist surgical teams during procedures and anticipate their needs.
  


• Maintain sterile technique, surgical counts, and patient safety standards.
  


• Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and post-procedure setup.
  


• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and perioperative staff.
  


• Travel between regional campuses as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  


• 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred
  


• BLS required
  


• NBSTSA certification preferred
  


• Strong sterile technique, OR knowledge, and teamwork skills
  


• Willingness to travel between regional campuses
