Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking CST CVOR for travel/contract positions in Midland, MI. 

Position Details:

Pay Rate: $2800 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Cath Lab

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hr or 4 X 10-hr shifts, Weekdays | On-call 1-2 Nights per week, and every 3rd weekend | Weekends - Every 3rd weekend for call

Position Requirements:

• CST CVOR experience: 5+ years - Required
  


• Open Heart experience - Required 
  


• Comfortable floating to General OR – Highly preferred
  


• Tertiary Care or Trauma Level I or Level II experience - Required 
  


• Covid Vaccination – Required
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• NBSTSA License  - Required 
  


• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures and ability to problem solve in relation to the procedure being performed.
  


• Verifies items on the physician preference card. Accountable for supplies so that accurate patient charges are billed.
  


• Demonstrates proper use of equipment, assembling of equipment, disposables as well as cleaning and sterilizing.
  


• Assures all equipment, supplies and instruments are assembled correctly and in working condition for the surgical procedure.
  


• Maintains the sterile environments. Monitors the sterile field and recognizes breaks in technique.
  


• Sets up sterile field with instruments in a timely manner. Keeps accurate account of all medications, sponges, instruments and sharps on the sterile fields per policy.
