Hirning Buick GMC is seeking a high-energy, results-driven New Car Sales Manager to lead our showroom team. In this role, you will drive new vehicle sales volume and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction. We want a strategic leader who loves being active on the showroom floor, closing deals, and coaching a high-performance sales team—not an administrator who stays hidden behind a desk.

Core Responsibilities


  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of automotive sales consultants.

  • Deal Structuring & Desk Management: Active "desking" of deals, structuring financing, and stepping in to assist sales reps with closing clients.


  • Inventory Management: Manage the new vehicle inventory, ensure proper vehicle merchandising, and monitor market demand.


  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain and elevate the dealership’s Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores by resolving customer issues professionally.

  • Sales Forecasting: Review, forecast, and track monthly unit sales, gross profits, and key dealership performance metrics.

  • CRM Utilization: Enforce strict CRM logging, lead management protocols, and timely follow-ups for the entire sales floor.


Job Qualifications


  • Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of proven success in automotive sales management (as a Sales Manager, F&I Manager, or Closer).


  • Track Record: Verifiable history of maintaining high sales volumes, and top-tier CSI scores.


  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation, deal-structuring, communication, and interpersonal skills.


  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with dealership CRM systems (VinSolutions, Global Connect, Dealertrack) and digital inventory tools.


  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable, clean driving record. Must pass background and drug screenings.
