University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Aide to provide personalized care and support to our clients in Ypsilanti, MI. This role involves assisting with daily living activities to improve the quality of life for individuals in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Support with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.


• Assist with medication reminders and monitoring.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.


• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus.
