Home Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Attendants to join our team in Wayne, MI. As a Home Attendant, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.


• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and wellbeing.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.


• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required if clients require it.
