Home Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Attendants to provide quality in-home care services to clients in Westland, MI. As a Home Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living activities of individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Assist with mobility and transferring clients as needed


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided


• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not necessary


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required if client need to be driven places
