Home Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide in-home care for clients in Dexter, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide mobility assistance and help clients move safely around their home.


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.

Requirements

• Prior experience in home care or related field is an advantage but not needed.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.


• Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• Ability to pass background checks.
