Home Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide in-home care and support to our clients in Marine City, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a caring attitude and be committed to delivering exceptional care in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as necessary


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment


• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities if needed


• Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately


• Basic knowledge of personal care and hygiene practices


• Reliable transportation to and from job sites in Marine City, MI


• Ability to pass background checks and comply with company policies


• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
