Home Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide quality, in-home care to our clients in Chesterfield, MI. As a vital member of our team, you will support clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is an advantage but not required.


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with mobility.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others.


• Must pass background checks and any applicable certifications.
