Home Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Attendant to provide personalized care and support to our clients in Temperance, MI. As a Home Attendant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with daily living activities in a respectful and caring manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed.


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and client preferences.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors promptly.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.


• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field preferred.


• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.


• Must pass background checks.
